a calm place to be where you don’t have to manage everything alone.
Counselling for third culture kids and global nomads.

You learned early how to adapt — to move countries, switch schools, read new social codes, and keep functioning while everything familiar changed. That skill served you well. It may also have taught you to manage everything alone.
I work with adults carrying the long-term effects of a mobile or dislocated childhood — third culture kids, expats, and global nomads, as well as those whose early independence came from boarding school.
However it took shape for you, the pattern is often the same: high competence, quiet exhaustion, and a hard time letting anyone else carry the weight. This is a space to slow down, be known without having to explain everything from scratch, and find what it feels like to not manage it all alone.

My approach
My approach is humanistic: the work is grounded in the present moment, in safety, in helping you feel what could not be felt then, and in supporting you to build a life that is not run by the systems you had to adapt to as a child.
In this work we don’t pathologise those adaptations — we understand them as what kept you safe in an environment that did not protect your emotional life. The focus is on what happens next: how to live now without needing those old survival strategies
